Every year, the Cincinnati Music Festival celebrates not just the sounds of Black music, but the power of Black creativity across all forms — and this year’s 2025 CMF Program Book cover is no exception.

We’re proud to spotlight Javarri Lewis, the visionary artist behind this year’s cover design. Cincinnati based, his journey is marked by a commitment to engaging communities through art—whether through large-scale murals, digital projects, or immersive public events. Drawing inspiration from Cincinnati’s rich heritage and diverse narratives, Javarri invites viewers to pause, reflect, and rediscover the connections that shape our shared experiences.

"I believe art is a dialogue—a bridge between past and present that invites reflection, empathy, and connection. Through my work, I aim to spark conversations about who we are and how our histories continue to shape our communities."

His design for this year’s program cover does just that — capturing the spirit of CMF and the generations of artists and fans who make this festival one of the most anticipated weekends of the summer.
